CORRIDOR ELEPHANT est une maison d’édition alternative officiellement née en avril 2014, mais rêvée depuis longtemps. Nous avons pour objectif de promouvoir des artistes contemporains, émergents ou non, à qui les systèmes de distributions classiques ne laissent souvent que peu pour ne pas dire pas de place.

Toute création est empreinte d’un message, ce message prend part de façon directe ou indirecte à l’émotion ressentie face à l’oeuvre. Nous voulons cette émotion solidaire en créant des partenariats avec des associations défendant les principes fondamentaux de droits humains. Corridor Elephant editera régulièrement des Ebooks d’artistes ou de collectifs d’artistes dont 40% des bénéfices nets seront reversés à l’association partenaire. Cette répartition se faisant à moitié pour l’auteur et à moitié pour l’éditeur, signe de l’engagement de l’ensemble des personnes qui font l’ouvrage.

Le premier Ebook est Another Way d’Axel Léotard. Il nous a semblé insupportable que dans des sociétés dites développées, les États imposent à une minorité invisible une stérilisation forcée pour obtenir le droit à l’insertion sociale par la remise de papiers d’identité répondant à leur apparence physique. Les fonds seront reversés à l’association ACCEPTESS-T domiciliée à Paris qui s’occupe de personnes Transsexuelles ou Transgenres migrantes.

EBOOK DE POCHE . Les photographies des Ebooks édités par CORRIDOR ELEPHANT sont maximisées pour une lecture sur tablette et lisibles sur tous supports (téléphone portable, tablette, ordinateur). La maximisation permet un faible poids rendant la bibliothèque disponible sur tout appareil.

CORRIDOR ELEPHANT is an alternative publishing house, born in april 2014 but dreamt of since much longer. We are committed to promote contemporary artists, emerging or not, who would not be given much space in traditionnal channels of distribution, if any.

Each and every creation conveys a message that plays a direct or indirect part in evoking an emotion. We wish for a solidarity-based emotion which is why we build partnerships with human right NGOs.Several Ebooks by artists or collective of artists will be edited with the goal to give at least 40% of our net benefits to the partner NGO. The amount will be supported half by the editor and half by the author, as a sign of commitment from all parties involved.

The 1st Ebook is Another Way by Axel Léotard. It feels unbearable that in our so-called modern societies, an unvisible minority is required to undergo surgical sterilization in order to hold proper identification matching their physical appearance and thus be able to integrate into society. Funds will be given to ACCEPTESS-T, a Paris based NGO caring for transsexual and transgender immigrants.
